45yo, Married to Martine. Father to Noah, Byron, Jack, Archie, Gracie, Arabella, and Adalee

My wife and I share the same goal, to simply “make disciples” by hyper-focusing on Jesus and his teachings. The most effective and enjoyable way we have found to do that is via authentic community with other followers of Jesus. Currently, our vision is to lead Open Road members to be Fully Alive [our vision for each individual] through Finding and Following Jesus [our mission]. Our missional strategy to see individuals realise this vision and mission is to encourage three simple rhythms:

  • Get to KNOW Jesus.
  • INVITE people into your life.
  • GATHER to encourage other followers. 

Other passions include: people, technology, the beach and ideas.

52 Follow, Devotional + Church-Planting Resource

In recent years I completed my project as my contribution to Matthew 28:18-20, to, “Teach people to obey all that I’ve commanded you”. 52 Follow is a devotional resource that can be used by individuals or small groups to learn to lovingly obey all that Jesus ‘commanded’. My hope is that it can be expanded to become a micro church-planting resource to eliminate the need to prepare sermons/series for the first 12mths of a church plant.
